Background Information
HISTORY:
One day many years after The Alice of Legend had vanished back through the looking glass. The Mad Hatter brought a strange wiggling creature  in a  hand basket.  It was a baby he brought to the mad tea party.  The Mad Hatter informed the Door Mouse that the boy child was named David, and he would be the next Hatter should anything happen to him. He would be raised on Tea and silly rhymes. The boy did grow and never questioned his lack of a mother, he simply learned from the Mad Hatter whom all expect was truely the boy's father. He befriended the friends of Alice of Legend in his youth and those whom would take their place in the event of their deaths. And as it were by the time the boy was 10 and  almost ready to host his own Tea party it happened. Mad March appered while young David slept he was pulled from the Tea house out the back by the Door Mouse in time to see the Queen watching as Mad March and Suites walking out with his father's dead body the Buttered watch falling from the dead Hatter's body. 

 

After collecting the watch off the ground the Tea partys stopped and David was taken underground to the Dodo for protection by the time he reached 16 he was asked by force to leave as his attitude and idea's  got on the Dodo's last nerve and he had started fighting them by that point and learned of his 'slegdhammer' hand. When he left the Door Mouse was still at his side and emotional teas were starting to become popular so David took his father's old home and had it renovated with money he borrowed from old friends of his father. Opening his shop he worked to not only keep himself alive and pay back his debts. but also to help those who helped him  even if he was not on the best of terms he still sent food down to the Dodo and the refugees.

 

After the events of Alice and going through the looking glass he finally started using his first name claiming himself to be David Hatter, He worked a few weeks in construction before deciding he did hate that and started working at a coffee/tea shop not far from Alice's home. Though his love for her is strong part of him misses home and part of him has started questioning his past.
